We plan to cover appropriate credential and background-screening costs for eligible providers. No worker will be charged a ScretchIt verification fee. Screening must be lawful, consented to, and handled by qualified providers. A check isn't a guarantee of safety.
Profiles in the public directory are manually approved for visibility. A separate “credential verified” badge only appears if that specific credential has actually been confirmed. Public listing approval alone is not a background-check result.
Current nearby results use the first three digits of a US ZIP, not street addresses, GPS trails or real-time precise locations. Providers must opt in to public listing.
Provider applications are restricted to administrators. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, government IDs or bank details in our application form. Member sign-in uses Wix's authentication service.
Payments will go through a qualified processor. The front end will never store or transmit Stripe secret keys. Production checkout, webhooks, fraud review and payout validation must pass testing before any real-money launch.
A future dating feature would require age safeguards, opt-in matching, consent and comprehensive blocking, reporting and moderation. There are no live Spark profiles or matches on this release.
